possibility of having gradline overlays for maps
Possibly.. I’ll look into it. I’m also looking into see how difficult it is to port the program to Droid and Iphone. Right now you can’t add a grid.. But I bet we can add that.

possibility of having gradline overlays for maps
I hunt on a club located on a timber company lease.  The area is rough............some of the folks have been hunting there for over 30 years but most hunters don’t know the area and only hunt for a few days a year.   Stand locations and deer drives have acquired names over time the problem is that the majority of the hunters don’t know specifically where the stands and drives really are.The question is it possible to have a grid overlay say of 100 yards that could go over a map?  That way every grid could have a locator alpha and numeric locator.  The grid could be further broken down when giving the location to a person say being put on the "old rock stand" in quadrant A of grid F-17.A map could be printed and given to the hunters a the scale which would include the most features in a specific stand, and or drive.  Given the fact that this lease has zero food plots the majority of the hunting includes drives. Will Connor   Marcellus NY   wilcocsc     wilcocsc@aol.com

We have a small 4 member hunt club and are leasing land for the deer season. Is there a way that a calender can be shared iva the internet on a site or saved as a file to place as a document on something such as gmail.

No options for MAC users?
The problem is.. None of the developers has a Mac.   If I could find an emulation program that was reasonably cheep, I would consider it. There are windows emulators  you can get for the mac that are free. You could download a windows emulator for your mac and then you would be able to run our software on your mac.

Just was wondering if you could set up the software for updated and current MAC users? Windows won’t work for us and I would love to participate in your program.Thank you for your time, BigChuck.

Nice deer Lenny even though it was not the one you were looking for;  I passed on a few bucks waiting for the big one that I’ve been hunting for the last two seasons. I finally got the big one to come to an estrus bleat but he didn’t see a doe and would not take another step.  He was about 30 yards in heavy brush, so the next 50 minutes we played sweat, neither one of us made a move; he finally decided that either he was hearing things or the doe he heard went towards the food plot.  So he went towards the food plot and did show himself at about 70 yards (too far for my bow) and he was really big (about 170s B&C).  Maybe next year if he doesn’t die of old age!

Well, I got back our Saturday Nov 14th The day before our gun season opened, got in stand about 2:30 and then around 4:15 all hell broke loose, 4 different bucks chasing does all around me, I shot this 8 point at about 35 yards, he went about 20 yards and laid down, a six point came along and roughed him up while he was laying there, not the monster I was waiting for but a nice buck none the less.

The bucks are finally starting to move here now; I saw a nice 8 point this past week one day near dark.  I’m hoping that they will be in peak rut this weekend, our modern gun season opens the 14th.

I went out Wednesday morning, Saturday morning, and night.  All three times I saw at least one buck pushing a doe.  I didn’t make it out Sunday due to the warm weather. Still waiting to see the buck I’m after.

Well made it back out today, seen 6 different bucks this morning, 1 shooter, just not close enough, had a 6 point 20 yard in front of me, just too small, on the night hunt, I had a nice shooter 8 point running a doe all around me tonight, just couldn;t get a shot, seen six deer total on the pm hunt, Like I said, the bucks are really starting to push the does, we will have to see how this warm weather affects the rut, I am headed back out tomorrow.

I sounds like you might need to do some dog management!  I can’t think of nothing worse off hand than dogs running through your stand area!  Let us know if you get the monster buck (post pics).

I finally made it out yesterday and got to my tree at 3:30 and no more than climbed up my sticks and there was a 6 point 20 yards in front of me, well pulled my bow up slowly and another 3 point came in, well I let them go and about 5:30 a monster was working his way along the thicket about 45 yards away and I thought for sure that he was gonna close that 15 yards that I needed and the 2 damn dogs from the farm came running and barking through the woods and spooked him and a Doe to the next county. What a bummer, but this was the first time I saw the big boy,I have seen his tracks and his rubs, but all I can say is I will be sitting in my stand all weekend long hoping for a shot at him.

I hunt Northern Arkansas and the same goes here, no rut activity.  The bucks are usually in pre-rut by now and the 12th of November usually is about the peak of rut; I don’t think that’s going to be the case this year, looks like the rut will be late this year.

I am in West Michigan and I haven’t seen any serious rut activity yet.  I don’t get to go out to much but plan to Wednesday and quite a bit this weekend, I will know better then.
