Turkey hunting in the fall is quite different from hunting turkeys in the spring. For one thing, it is not breeding season so turkey calls are not of as much use. In the fall, turkeys separate into groups of hens and poults or groups of gobblers. If you see one hen, you are not likely to see a gobbler in the entire flock. Turkeys tend to stay down in the open fields eating bugs until a hard freeze. 1 1/2 year old 6 point . Will it ever be a 8 point?
 
Yes
If this is indeed a 1 1/2 old 6pt then he could easily grow into a 12pt or better given the right genetics and food. but I think this deer is a 2 1/2 old. I am only speaking from what I can see from the pic. There is no real way to tell with out looking at its teeth

A deer often will not show his main frame until he is atleast 3 1\2. By is poor body , he has more growing. Health could be a problen.

that deer is at least 2and a half yrs.old He has to still got that adolesent look about him besides that it takes at least 21/2 yrs to be a 6 pt.

I ALSO AGREE. THIS BUCK IS VERY YOUNG AND COULD BE AT LEAST A 12 IN 1_3 YEARS WITH HELP ON THE FOOD,WITHOUT WHO KNOWS HE COULD GO TO AN 8 AND STAY THERE, ALSO DEPENDS ON THE GENETICS THAT WERE PASSED ON TO HIM. WITH PROPER NUTRITION IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO SAY....
