The weather has started to change with some needed rain and is getting much cooler now. I’m planning on planting food plots this weekend and that’s the last of the word days; Bow season starts here on Oct 1st and I’ll be in a tree on that day! We have our youth hunt this weekend 14 Nov, trying to get a young fella and girl their first deer. They may be in luck we have whats left of Ida going through now and tomorrow, SO deer may be moving Saturday morning for them. Even if we don’t get one it will be a great day in the field with them. |

I did get back my last buck from the taxidermy and it looks real nice. This deer is about a 130 B&C and I should have let him walk, but he had such a nice tall and symmetric rack I just couldn’t help myself! |
