Re:Hello from Pennsylvania 11/04/2008 7:29 PM | | Every winter several of the sportsmens clubs here in PA have coyote hunts, half of the regostration fees go to the first place winner with the heaviest coyote. Some of the cash prises have exceeded $5000.00 already. I have not had any luck at it yet. I use electonic calls, most of the winners are all hunting with shotguns and dogs, they run them just like rabbits. | For God & Country |

We have gotten so many of them here that when you turkey hunt the coyote is the first thing that comes in to your call. I have already bagged a coyote on the first day of our bow season. I did a young estrus doe call and the within a few minutes a coyote came sneaking right under my stand. I think after the season is over we are going to have to have a major coyote hunt to cut them back some! | THE BUCK STOPS HERE! |

In southern maryland our muzzleloading season was a little wet and windy, out of the week there were only a couple of good hunting days. Use to shoot a lot of coyotes in south tx..... we don’t have any here in southern maryland YET!!! | Jim Krenek |

Hunting is my passion, and fishing gets me through the off season. I have already taken a coyote and a doe in PA with my T/C Omega, muzzleloader. I was really excited, it was my first coyote, and to take it with a muzzleloader just takes the cake. Will have some pictures when I get it back from the taxidermist.
