What if it keep fluctuating? +/- | It has been generally noted that deer do move when the barometer is moving, but they seem to move more when the barometer is rising (as apposed to falling) and when the barometer is steady high (as apposed to steady low). We continue to monitor this data but the results we have are inconclusive; we need more data. |

He said that it didnt matter wheater it was going down or going up as long as it was changeing it was good. I have done some field testing on this matter and it looks like to me hes right. I have found that I am more likely to see deer when its changeing. I am not an expert on this matter and have only done small amounts of testing on this subject. I guess what I am saying is "You get what you pay for". Free advice. | Went out this morning after watching the humidity and air pressure last night. It went from 100.30 @ 9:30pm (falling) to 100.11 @ 10:00am (rising). The humidity went from 62 to 76 in the same time period. I saw one coyote and the buck i have been after. He came in heading into the wind and got to @ 50yrd of my treestand but there were big fallen trees that hid most of his body, very nice rack. He jumped one tree behind him and then just walked away slowly no problem, i could not make a good shot with my excalibur, with the wind and the tree hazard i didn,t shoot. Maybe next week, or this sunday! |
