9/27/11: The DeerDays latest version update is now completed! If you want the update now you can download it from DeerDays.com manually, just be sure to remove the current DeerDays program from your PC before you download the new version. Once the download is complete, then you can copy and paste your activation key from DeerDays.com (for Silver or Gold members after you have logged in) into the activation prompt box (accessed by clicking on either the "DeerDays Calculator" button or the "Calculate Times" button from your DeerDays Calendar). The automatic update feature will be added soon if you don’t need the update now, and will prompt you for an automatic update when you use your DeerDays Calendar. The update fixed a Mapper issue and improved deer movement prediction algorithms/formulas that had been field tested for the past several years and proved accurate. Please remember when using the "Calculate Times" function that you have your location coordinates entered and that the periods are calculated on standard time only (not Daylight Saving Time). Thank you for supporting DeerDays; as always your comments and suggestions are welcomed!
The Mapper issue has been found and fixed! However, we are going to combine the fix with some deer movement prediction enhancements and push a new update. The update is scheduled for release tomorrow (9/23/11). Thanks for your patience
I just recently got that one when starting a new cover/food source map for a new place I’m about to hunt. This looks to be caused by an outsource change; shouldn’t be to hard to locate and fix. Thanks for the post and please accept our apology for the inconvenience. One of us will get back to you as soon as we get this resolved.
