auto fill of weather
It is now September 2016. Has there been any advancement in resolving the autofill option for the weather? This is actually a very nice feature when it worked.

some tips about hunting turkey.....
Turkey hunting in the fall is quite different from hunting turkeys in the spring. For one thing, it is not breeding season so turkey calls are not of as much use. In the fall, turkeys separate into groups of hens and poults or groups of gobblers. If you see one hen, you are not likely to see a gobbler in the entire flock. Turkeys tend to stay down in the open fields eating bugs until a hard freeze. They will then migrate up into the hardwood forests for beech nuts, acorns, etc. You can determine when this has happened by locating turkey scratchings in the leaves. If you know where they are roosting and where they are feeding, you can position yourself between the two areas. If you walk in too close to their roost, they will hear you and avoid you when they fly down.  Hunting is allowed all day long within designated hunting hours. Again, turkeys harvested must be checked-in at a checking station. Here is what I have found with my testing. It looks like the times doesn’t nessicarily mean you will see a deer feeding during these times only that it is possible. I have also found that you do not see deer feeding during times where there are no times listed by the time calculator. I have seen rut activity or deer being chased by dogs/other stuff but I have not to this day seen any deer feeding while there isn’t a time listed. These are just my observations.

I have hunted deer in Texas in the Sweat Water area and if you’re hunting corn feeders the deer won’t visit them until all the acorns are gone.  But for trophy hunting I use a climber stand and hunt the dried up creek beds and that’s where the acorns and thickets usually are located.  What part of Texas are you hunting?

So the best time to hunt for me seems to have changed with the amont of food there is for them this year. I hardly don’t see any deer anymore. There are so may acorns and nuts on the ground all round that I have to be hunting where here is alot of sign and no humans around.

What I have noticed is that the deerdays time calculator button has been very accurate for the best time to hunt deer in my locations.  But the trick is to be sure to deduct an hour from the period because it appears to be calculated using standard time and not daylight saving time.  Has anyone esle noticed this?
