auto fill of weather
It is now September 2016. Has there been any advancement in resolving the autofill option for the weather? This is actually a very nice feature when it worked.

some tips about hunting turkey.....
Turkey hunting in the fall is quite different from hunting turkeys in the spring. For one thing, it is not breeding season so turkey calls are not of as much use. In the fall, turkeys separate into groups of hens and poults or groups of gobblers. If you see one hen, you are not likely to see a gobbler in the entire flock. Turkeys tend to stay down in the open fields eating bugs until a hard freeze. They will then migrate up into the hardwood forests for beech nuts, acorns, etc. You can determine when this has happened by locating turkey scratchings in the leaves. If you know where they are roosting and where they are feeding, you can position yourself between the two areas. If you walk in too close to their roost, they will hear you and avoid you when they fly down.  Hunting is allowed all day long within designated hunting hours. Again, turkeys harvested must be checked-in at a checking station. The first deer I killed I thought that my father-in-law was going to help me to field drees it but he went the other way.If you have seen any field dressing  at all you will be o.k.No matter how many times someone does or shows you how to do it, there is nothing like learning for your self (hands on)Everybody has made mistakes can`t make them unless you try for youself.TURBO

hey buck, dont be afraid to move your stands around either . i move sets all the time to keep the wind in my favor. and i also still call and i still use decoys . there is alot of tricks to use . i really dont think rattleing will be effective now? but maybe light rattleing might work for ya. keep scent free and you will bag’em .

Good Hunting..

The deerdays program says that it will be good the 13th and 14th if that’s what your asking.

Keep in mind that the deerdays calculator varies by location.  In the area that I will hunt on the 13th and 14th, deerdays shows that the 13th is the better of the two days.

I killed both of my deer on the ground.. No tree stand..
But i also left my huting close outside so that they wouldn’t smell like human. Then I took a bath in sentblock before I put my camo on. I alos walked nearly a mile away from the road into a nice thicket.. Theres all kinda neat tricks you can do.. but remember.. If you dont think you can get your forwheeler back in the thicket you hunt.. better not take the shot.. because it sucks dragging a nice 10pt deer up a hill in the pooring rain because you didn’t think about how the hell you where going to get your forwheeler to your deer. hehheh.. Yeah that happend to me.. took me like 2 or 3 hours just to load him up on the forwheeler..

Its never a waste of time to go hunting. If your not in the woods you can’t get a deer. If you don’t shoot at the deer you can’t get a deer.

Something to think about...
